Job Description

The bid manager's responsibilities will include:

- Full management of the bid process from start to finish

- Working alongside sales team to ensure opportunities are appropriately identified and to produce accurate forecasting for the business unit pipeline

- Managing bid team to ensure consistently high standards within set time scales

- Collecting estimates and building of the cost and price models for each bid

- Developing relationships with main suppliers to support delivery of proposition alongside business and product teams

- Risk and dependency management

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in bid management of contracts exceeding £5m. They will have a minimum of three years experience managing bid processes from start to finish. They must be organised, motivated and able to hit the ground running.

A competitive rate is offered for the right candidate, and there may be the possibility for the position to go permanent, should the contract be successful for both parties.
