Job Description

Reporting to the lead of the International region, it will create the link between our International brand team and many of our largest markets in the region. In doing so, this role will:

  • Understand and advise on Market needs - Provide the International brand team with a key partner to support the development of brand assets, providing guidance on the needs of markets such as Spain, Russia, Australia and India, ensuring the assets developed are appropriate for practical implementation. As part of this process, this position will carry out regular toolkit content reviews.
  • Communication - Equally, this role will also provide a key point of contact for these markets. This includes providing day to day support on questions/requests that markets have, communicating asset availability and updates to markets and also leading regular monthly updates on initiatives across our full portfolio.
  • Support and guidance to markets - Acting as a key partner for markets, help provide input and guidance that supports the development of their plans and drives the international brand strategies.
  • Review of deployment plans - This role will also support regular reviews of market deployment plans for our brands - both collecting information and collating/analyzing to help inform recommendations and actions.
  • Measurement and evaluation - Work closely with markets to establish a regular process for evaluation of brand performance, asset performance and plan implementation. This includes establishing an agreed KPI criteria with markets that is reviewed quarterly and insights/outputs shared with the International marketing team. It will also ensure that brand/activity plans are being implemented in line with agreements made in the brand plan process and/or through workshops.
  • Best practice - through working closely with markets, seek out, understand and evaluate best practice examples within these markets. In doing this, identify critical success factors and learning's that can be applied in other areas of our business and create the guidance that can be issued to the region.
  • Leadership of specific cross-portfolio initiatives / Projects as required

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Self-driven collaborative leader who listens actively and has strong influencing skills
  • Understands principles and importance of Category Management
  • Effective presenter to senior management - can convey core messages succinctly
  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple products simultaneously with a high degree of independence
  • Good creative/innovative, idea generation track record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness / ability to operate across a variety of different cultures
  • Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relationships, both internally (different teams / areas of the business) and externally (distributors, agencies…)
  • Self-driven, results oriented, pragmatic, with a flex and positive "can do" approach to challenges and difficulties.
  • Effective at influencing across cultures
