About Our Client

Our client is a British business who specialises in healthy snacks. Their turnover grew by 70% in 2014-15 and is on track to grow a further 60% 2015-16. They have been operating in their market for ten years and are continually growing. Our client has an excellent reputation. They are looking for an entrepreneurial Brand Manager to join their team.

Job Description

The Buckinghamshire based Brand Manager will have a hands on approach to all aspects of one particular brand. This will include being involved in advertisement campaigns and developing marketing strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development the UK brand plans with a short and long term focus.
  • Manage the implementation and optimisation of brand activity that supports the overarching brand strategy.
  • Day to day brand and product management
  • Ambassador for the brand and key contact for the brand both internally and externally.
  • Champion our social media activity working closely with our external agency to develop content calendars to grow and engage our community of fans.
  • Work with our PR agency to utilise brand ambassadors to generate buzz for the brand.
  • Manage in conjunction with the Marketing Director, the delivery of consumer advertising campaigns on time and to budget.
  • Develop and manage the consumer events plan attend events when required
  • Manage the digital programme and multiple agencies to support the growth of our company E-commerce website, including SEO, Email marketing, PPC and other online advertising.
  • Oversee E-commerce promotional plan for company website and update content via the CMS as required.
  • Responsible for measuring, monitoring and reporting the success of marketing activities, providing recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Budget monitoring and monthly reporting.
  • Contribute to, and assist in, the execution of NPD - from concept through to delivery of final artwork and marketing materials.
  • Brand guardian for UK and international markets where needed, ensuring brand consistency is maintained across packaging and marketing communications.
  • Creating monthly / quarterly marketing reports for internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will ideally have come from an FMCG consumer brand marketing background. Previous work in managing agencies would be useful, but not essential.
