Job Description

The Brand Manager based Bedfordshire will have a hands on approach to all aspects of marketing the brand including on and offline activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage social media campaigns on branded sites working closely with our agency
  • Drive the brand and premium positioning strategies through the day-to-day management of the brand
  • Work closely with customer marketing to propose and support implementation of branded consumer and trade marketing activity
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in managing the implementation of media plans within agreed strategy and budget, working closely with our media agency to ensure that formats are relevant and engaging to their audience
  • Develop promotional incentives for both consumer and trade to maximize volume and awareness of the brand
  • Work closely with the sales and customer marketing teams where NPD is required to drive distribution and take advantage of additional brand occasions
  • Continual tracking and understanding of the lager portfolio and the category through frequent competitor analysis and tracking
  • Have a clear and thorough understanding of the market and category
  • Presentation of marketing plans and activities to key stakeholders at relevant meetings
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to manage the brand marketing budget and ensure that all activities are achieved within budget and within time scales

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Brand Manager will ideally have come from a luxury or premium FMCG background. The candidate will also demonstrate ability to set objectives and think strategically.

The candidate will also be confident in selling and presenting brand initiatives. Attention to detail and working under pressure is essential.

The Bedfordshire based Brand Manager can expect a basic salary between £30-35K.
