Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of an established brand. They will need to possess strategic thinking for media and creative planning, with the ability to think about wider communications planning. My client is looking for a candidate with a proven track record in marketing. It is highly desirable to have previous experience within a not-for-profit or travel/leisure organisation. There is dotted-line management of a marketing executive within the role of Brand Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Assisting the Head of Marketing with creation of a strategic approach for marketing campaigns throughout the year.
  • Management of agencies (digital and creative) in order to assist in the delivery of exciting new campaigns.
  • Manage the brand, acting as an ambassador for the organisation and ensuring an effective communications strategy.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and increase the frequency of business with consumers and businesses.
  • Assist in the creation of a brand strategy for the organisation.
  • Monitor and improve visitor experience. Identify and action improvements and commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely to ensure the delivery of visitor targets and exceeding customer expectation.
  • Dotted line management of a marketing executive.
  • Ensuring effective internal communication to ensure buy-in and support for all brand initiatives.
  • Lead on local engagement with media, local bodies, supporters and the wider community through building a network of key contacts.
  • Represent the organisation within key external bodies.

What's on Offer

The Brand Manager role attracts a salary of between £33,000 and £36,000 dependant on the experience of the candidate. The role is a maternity cover and is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
