About Our Client

This food provider based near Northallerton spans internationally as a brand synonymous with healthy living for both us and the planet. They are keen innovators of different meal solutions offering various health benefits such as high protein and fibre, substituting the meat content for Mycoprotein. The business has recently been sold and is undergoing major investment - which is very exciting for a business that likes to innovate!!!

Job Description

The Brand Manager role and responsibilities will be split up as follows:

New product Development

Responsible for development and execution of the NPD plan for each market, implementing the plan according to strategy and profit targets. Managing projects internally across all relevant functions. Working with the business managers to ensure that NPD projects have the buy-in of the relevant market.

Marketing Plans

Develop the most effective marketing plan, in the agreed markets which balances the need for increased sales with the need to create positive brand values. Execute marketing plans utilising relevant tools, on time and to budget.

Management of agencies

Responsible for setting objectives, briefing and managing of all the agencies to achieve maximum value for money. Including PR, advertising and sales promotion.


Prepare the execution of the new brand re-design across international markets and managing copy translation across relevant markets. Manage packaging stocks to ensure minimal write offs.

Internal Communication

Responsible for cross functional communication and project management to ensure all internal departments understand the objectives for each country and the activities they need to deliver to achieve the business plan.

Scope New Markets

Scope new market opportunities as requested, working alongside the relevant business manager with new market execution as required.


Manage all consumer spend to budgets, providing timely monthly updates to commercial finance.
