About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing utilities business, seeking an entrepreneurial business account manager to help to drive sales during this exciting period.

Job Description

The Business Account Manager will manage existing and new client relationships to deliver added value to client and profitable business opportunities to the organisation.

Seeking to expand the breadth of commercial opportunities, the successful candidate will create and sell new value adding products and services to meet growing customer requirements, taking the ideas from creation through internal approval, to implementation of the product/service offering.

Through effective networking, the Business Account Manager will gain a detailed understanding of the customer base, the market segment and build trust in-line with company values.

This role is both office based, near Cardiff, and field based.

The Successful Applicant

The Business Account Manager will:

  • Have a strong sales and account management background
  • Have demonstrable evidence of success in a commercial environment
  • Have a proven background in service and/or product development
  • Have experience in bids and tenders
  • Have effective negotiation and presentation skills
  • Have a demonstrable success of negotiating at C-Level
  • Have strong internal stakeholder management skills
  • Have an entrepreneurial mind-set
