About Our Client

Our client is a large London Housing Association with a multi-billion pound development pipeline and will be growing by more than 100% in the near future as the result of a merger. As such they are recruiting for a qualified finance professional to support them in the delivery of their growth strategy.

Job Description

The Business Analyst will sit within the Corporate Finance Team, and will play a pivotal role in successfully delivering a large development pipeline and assisting in the due diligence work around a potential merger. Reporting into the Head of Business Planning and Analysis, the Business Analyst will:

  • Co-ordinate the investment appraisal review meetings, ensuring minutes and action points have been captured accurately, challenging colleagues where necessary.
  • Work with stakeholders and colleagues to prepare long term financial plans for group subsidiaries.
  • Run sensitivity analyses and explore the impact of changes to financial policies, new initiatives and changes to the external environment.
  • Support the appraisal of non-social housing growth opportunities (including potential mergers and acquisitions).







The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA qualified, with experience in advisory, business planning, corporate finance / M&A or transaction services. It is ideal that the business analyst has advanced excel skills, VBA coding are an advantage. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively negotiate and challenge information from different areas of the business.
