My client is a leading Financial Services organisation. Due to continued success they require a permanent Business Analyst to join their established function.

Job Description

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Detailed requirements gathering
  • Identifying and documenting 'as is' and 'to be' processes
  • Detailing processes in business process master list for relevant area
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements and specifications
  • Identifying areas where processes can be improved and drive best practice
  • Supporting the documentation of functional and technical specifications for development of solutions, ready to handover at the end of design stage
  • Gap analysis
  • Supporting relevant business teams with relevant information and documentation
  • Supporting the data team with data collection and workshops
  • Supporting the data team in data mapping aligned with 'to be' processes
  • Creation of test scenarios
  • Embedding understanding of business and system processes through supporting the training team
  • Providing support throughout the project life cycle through to a BAU state
  • Attending meetings where required

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Analyst will possess:

  • Strong Business Analysis experience with exposure to large change programmes
  • ISEB/BCS qualification (desirable)
  • Experience in SIPOC business process requirements gathering technique
  • Demonstrable experience of process mapping, process change, requirements gathering and leading workshops
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • An analytical mind and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility in approach to situations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Financial services experience (desirable)
