Our client is a leading business in the UK housing and property market, with a newly increased focus on Business Systems, Process Improvement and Change Management.

Job Description

Working closely within a growing Business Improvement function, the Business Analyst is a critical role, responsible for supporting a key business systems implementation project as well as BAU operational capabilities.

  • Work with process users and senior stakeholders to proactively gather requirements for additional system functionality and process gaps for increased efficiency.
  • Assess the impact of new processes and systems on business performance.
  • Provide end-to-end project engagement for large-scale change programmes, through requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, training and change management.
  • Act as a key conduit between the business and IT, ensuring that user requirements and design specifications are upheld throughout the project life cycle.
  • Document any amended systems or processes, providing training where necessary to ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of business functions, including, Finance, IT and HR to identify requirements for future projects

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the Business Analyst role, candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Demonstrable track record of process mapping and re-engineering.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of eliciting and documenting requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders from across the business.
  • Exposure of IT led implementation projects.
  • Professional qualifications in Business Analysis, Project Management of Continual Improvement (eg. ISEB, Prince2, Six Sigma) - not essential.
  • Direct exposure to public sector/not for profit housing sector - not essential.
