Job Description

Due to continued success and growth the organisation is currently winning numerous new customers and is looking for a strong Business Analyst with Project Management skills to join the organisation to pick up and deliver full life cycle, client facing implementation projects. You will be responsible for working with multiple clients from day one, managing multiple projects through full life cycle implementation and also providing several months of post implementation services and after care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Management of projects from inception to delivery
  • Managing & motivating matrix resources
  • Full life cycle delivery - cradle to grave
  • Follow preferred project management methodologies
  • Securing appropriate resources and building a project team.
  • Reviewing progress and ensuring that the milestones are completed as per the agreed schedule.
  • Arrange, conduct and lead all meeting pre, during & post implementation with project teams, stake holders and clients
  • Liaising with and update progress to the project board
  • Budget management
  • Scoping changes, ensuring that impact assessments are carried out, obtaining business and client approval, re-planning and budgeting as necessary.
  • Ensuring that the relevant documentation and training has been completed
  • Assessing and translating business requirements into technical and business process specifications
  • Working as part of project and implementation teams
  • Supporting of testing and systems training, for managed change
  • Being a catalyst for continuous improvement.
  • Actively support the sales organisation in a Pre-Sales capacity
  • Translate IT capabilities into customer-relevant products
  • Provide occasional support for the Service Delivery team by acting as a Change Manager for client and internally initiated process change.
  • Post implementation support

The Successful Applicant

The person:

  • Experience of a BA/PM hybrid role - 60/40 in favour of BA
  • Strong technical awareness
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience of Project methodologies such as PRINCE 2 (ideally practitioner)
  • Client facing experience
  • System implementation experience
  • Full life cycle delivery to scale, time & budget
  • Knowledge of SQL Server (desirable)
  • Payment processing technology and processes (desirable)
