An infrastructure provider with a presence in Sunderland.

Job Description

The role will involve:

  • Conducting the BCM risk assessment and impact analysis across several functions within the business
  • Coordinating the design, development and implementation of BCM and recovery plans across the company
  • Train and coach managers, recovery teams and all relevant staff on business continuity arrangements
  • Drive the timely closure of identified issues
  • Provide a point of contact and assistance to internal audit, regulation or HSE as required
  • Advise/support the incident controller or coordinator during a BC event
  • Propose updates to policy and procedures
  • Escalate risks and coordinate mitigating responses

The Successful Applicant

Essential:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, paying particular attention to detail, with the ability to be able to write and present Business Continuity reports to senior management, auditors and key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work alone or as part of a team delivering high quality results
  • Well organised with strong problem solving skills with the ability to influence decisions



Desirable:

  • Experience writing Business Continuity plans and/or playing a key role in BCM events
  • Experience writing policies and procedures
  • Relevant qualification from a professional body such as IGEM or IBCI
  • Full driving licence

What's on Offer

Basic salary of £29,000 to £33,000 depending on experience
