About Our Client

My client is a global leader in its industry, they have had an array of successes on projects across both Central London and on an International scope. The business continues to be highly innovative in developing and delivering solutions in an increasingly urbanising environment with a turnover in the UK alone of £250million. My client is passionate about developing the right candidate for this position and they have a track record of rewarding success with increased responsibility and experience either in the central team, broader national team or in one of the international offices.

Job Description

Within a collegiate and passionate culture the main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial Planning - This will cover all aspects including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and a full, on-going assessment of business risks and opportunities.
  • Month End close and performance reporting - full responsibility for financial reporting, presenting an accurate and forward-focused perspective on the financial success of the Division.
  • Strong Balance Sheet control - responsibility for the calculation of large project work-in progress valuation, maintaining a constant focus on maximising liquidity and cash flow amongst other areas.
  • Effective cost management - Analysing all direct and indirect costs and driving cost control through insightful analysis
  • Broader responsibilities across the London region
  • Chance to gain significant commercial exposure in a leading international business.
  • The successful candidate will business partner with those leading and delivering various projects across Central London.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills, using historical financial information, strategic plan or forecast data. Record of delivering business performance improvement is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A conscientious approach to reporting and thirst for analysis and problem solving.
  • Team player with ambition and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing skills. The position needs to work across all the business units.
  • Comfortable working with different cultures.
