About Our Client
My client is the worlds largest producer and recycler of lead. This organisation is currently the only one of its kind to offer a closed loop for lead acid batteries.
Having a global presence and a multi billion dollar turnover, this is a ever growing organisation who are looking to further expand their sales function within the UK.
With a strong family led culture within a large organisation this is a great business for any sales manager/business development manager to gain further market understanding and fantastic progression.
The main responsibilities for the business manager will be :-
*Develop a business plan in line with the European strategy
*Attain and increase sales in existing market and target markets
*Develop customer relationships with Teri 1 and OEM suppliers
*Co-ordinate sales and production schedules for Polypropylene
*Analyse business performance on an on-going basis, prepare and publish reports as required
*Represent the company at conferences and commercial meetings
The Successful Applicant
*Knowledge of Automotive plastics market
*Proven success in developing strong partnerships across all levels of the business in both internal and external facing
*Relevant background in automotive account management
*Good negotiation skills coupled with commercial acumen and well developed interpersonal skills
*Self motivated and driven, demonstrating initiative and creativity in daily approach
*robust character and able to work autonomously
