Job Description

Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive in London:

  • Assist the Head of Origination and the Origination team to achieve their sales targets with all aspects of the business development process

  • Primary point of contact for inbound enquiries and outbound targeting

  • Explain and promote our services to prospective introducers and sponsors

  • Source meetings for BDMs and new loan opportunities

  • Active involvement in lead generation working closely with business development and marketing teams to develop new campaigns

  • Work closely with the partnership manager to refer direct loan enquiries to existing sponsors

  • Support wider business development team including CRM system administration, pipeline management and marketing and event support

  • Ensure timely capture of data and accurate reporting and monitoring

  • Participate in relevant business and professional networks and events

  • Identify promotion and sponsorship opportunities to support business development activity

  • Support and participate in digital and social media marketing activity

The Successful Applicant

Requirements for the Business Development Executive:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience desirable in a similar B2B role with a financial institution or professional services

  • Understanding of credit useful

  • Confident and professional

  • Tenacious approach

  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop the role over time

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
