Job Description

Business Development Manager - Accountancy - Payroll & HR Services

The key objective of this role is to generate new revenue through sales of Payroll and HR Services and to promote the company's brand.


Core Business Development Duties

  • Create Payroll BD plan, within the company's existing framework.
  • Proactively research, generate new opportunities, cold call and close new clients for the Payroll and HR services to achieve personal monthly targets
  • Conduct online demonstrations and face to face meetings as required
  • Liaise with appropriate teams to formulate proposals to meet prospect clients' needs
  • Present our offering, demonstrating how we will meet prospect clients' needs
  • Support the Business Development Teams client activities and tasks
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all product offerings, in particular Payroll and HR services, software solutions and outsourcing services

Administrative Duties

  • Effectively and accurately record opportunities on the Sales CRM system
  • Ensure agreed sales processes are followed
  • Ensure documents are filed correctly (paper & electronic)
  • Ensure compliance is adhered to in areas such as contracts, letters of engagement and money laundering checks
  • To provide and maintain, on an ongoing basis, a record of activities, figures, forecasting and any other records which may be required in order to keep up-to date records of performance

What's on Offer

A basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus commission
