Job Description

  • Develop business and product strategy for the respective business segment.
  • Manage the cross functional representatives to obtain the information necessary to provide credible bids, proposals and quotations.
  • Organise and plan business development and marketing activities to continuously increase market share.
  • For the identified market segment achieve budgeted sales, both in revenue and margin terms, maintaining a rolling 12 month Budget and a 5 year forecast.
  • Be creative in identifying opportunities to leverage products and technology to expand the company's portfolio within the market segment of responsibility.
  • Experience of the aftermarket/airlines is essential, with an understanding of the different drivers between that and OE.

The Successful Applicant

  • The successful candidate will have a wealth of aftermarket experience and be able to develop a strategic road-map towards increasing market share.
  • The business development manager will have a proven track record in delivering highly profitable business wins.
  • Essential; the candidate is currently operating in the aerospace sector.
  • Degree educated or equivalent ideally in a technical subject
