Sunday Times top 100 company based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Business Development Manager for their promotions and incentives team

Role description

My client is looking for two Business Development Managers working within the promotions and incentives business services team, providing acquisition campaigns, retention solutions and loyalty programmes to clients customers and channel partners.
The primary purpose of the role is to support, develop and grow new business pipeline across many industry verticals from blue chip companies to small independents. As a member of the commercial team responsibilities include lead generation, opportunity identification and development of responses.
Based within the Hertfordshire office other responsibilities include:

* Interrogating a client brief to understand their objectives and requirements

* Preparing creative and compelling proposals with commercial considered costing's

* Responding to RFIs and RFPs

* Managing the end-to-end sales process to ensure the team meets and exceed its sales targets

* Co-coordinating with subject matter experts within the team to develop new products and services that will generate revenue for the Division

Who we're looking for

Being a consultative, energetic and credible Business Development Manager with bags of personality and enthusiasm will be essential for this role.
* Be highly self-motivated with a focus on the achievement of specific sales goals

* Have a good understanding of the sales promotions industry and/or the channel sales environment

* Have strong commercial acumen

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Be an energetic and enthusiastic team player

* Have a proven ability to influence prospects and internal stakeholders

One of these roles will also have further responsibilities to deputise for the Commercial Director as well as a proven track record in a business development role working with clients up to CEO level.
