Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Business Development Manager is to maximise sales and opportunities through distributors across Northern Europe. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and new customers across this region.

Other responsibilities include:-

- Proposing and managing appropriate distribution agreements in various markets, whilst assisting the Regional General Manager in the preparation of sales forecasts/budgets.

-Gathering market research and maintain market analysis of all territories to react accordingly.

-Being familiar with regulatory requirements in all designated markets-seeking out the best possible partners and route to market.

- Arranging distributor pricing, special discounts and tenders ensuring acceptable profit margins.

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager will:-

-Have a successful track record in selling medical devices.

-Have experience of selling in an export market.

-Be able to communicate at all levels with various stakeholders- clinicians, KOL's and decision makers.

-Be able to travel frequently to the head office in Oxfordshire and across Northern Europe and the UK.

- Be highly self motivated with a strong ability to drive and deliver sales opportunities.
