Job Description

The successful Business Development Manager, based in the East Midlands, will:

* Build a rapid understanding of the Company's total capabilities.

* Comprehensive analysis of existing and as yet unidentified prospects within the specified territory to which the Company may offer attractive cost effective solutions. As a Business Development Manager for this growing IT solutions business you will:

Achieve agreed sales targets, subsequently deliver an increasingly aggressive sales budget by: - identifying prospects within the appropriate sectors/territory - making appointments with decision makers by cold calling/social media - arranging and undertaking the appropriate number of sales visits - devise effective solutions in consultation with the client - ensuring all elements of the contract are successfully implemented - managing and developing the account throughout its total life time

* Assist in identifying, creating awareness of potential value for customers and validating specific opportunities while playing a role together with non sales specialists within the Company in the preparation and delivery of professional sales presentations and proposals that will win business

The Successful Applicant

The ideal East Midlands based Business Development Manager will have:

* Confidence and ability to successfully turn target contacts into meeting opportunities from which profitable business is gained.

* Ability to react quickly and positively to all customer requirements Working for this leading IT Solutions business you will:

* Extroverted, quick-witted with excellent presentation and negotiating skills

* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

* An organised finisher and closer

* Be based on patch within the East Midlands or northern East Anglia
