Job Description

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:

  1. Sales & marketing of Page Group services by telephone, face-to-face meetings and email in order to win new clients and increase number of recruitment mandates
  2. Prepare and deliver pitches for major accounts
  3. Development of sales strategies, structures and development of initiatives and targets
  4. Discuss feedback of sales and recruitment processes with clients to ensure good service
  5. Preparing promotional materials & marketing initiatives and setting up client events
  6. Advising clients regarding recruitment methodologies, market trends & terms of business
  7. Liaising with current clients, advising on recruitment issues and filling temporary and permanent vacancies in a timely manner.
  8. Sourcing, interviewing and training consultants on the recruitment process and other day to day duties
  9. Mentoring of staff
  10. Hiring, development and training of new staff
  11. Driving activity levels across the team
  12. Accountability for financials e.g. costs, forecast
  13. Business planning
  14. Liaising with Directors and Managing Director on business challenges, plans, innovations and best practice.
  15. Interviewing and screening of candidates on behalf of clients
  16. Determining specifications on vacancies
  17. Negotiating of fees for recruitment & other human capital services
  18. Referral & scheduling of interviews between candidates & clients
  19. Running employee induction sessions
  20. Conducting workplace health & safety assessments KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Business Development
    • Client acquisition - number of new clients developed
    • Revenue - fees generated
    • Business planning (market analysis, work the opportunities)
    • Marketing (participation, contribution of new concepts)
    • Client service - qualitative (level of service & relationships)
    • Candidate service - qualitative (level of service & relationships)
  • People / Team
    • Team management (Relationships with team members, manage relationships between team members, maintain low t/o, motivation of team)
    • Business Management (complete required monthly processes, drive the team members to manage own admin responsibilities)
    • Planning (plan for individuals and for the team)Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The Successful Applicant

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrable success in B2B business development within professional services including cold calling, self-generating new leads and developing existing relationships
  • Have a proven track record in the UK legal recruitment sector, with in depth knowledge of the market.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding legal terminology, qualifications and careers.
  • Have experience of coaching performance of staff in an office based sales environment.
  • Have created an established network of contacts across the Legal sector.As your role within Page Group includes operating as part of a team, you are expected to work as a team member, show appropriate behaviours and respect to all our employees and work with a spirit of co-operation.
