Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Business Development Executive will be to identify and create new opportunities through existing clients and through new business targets and prospects.

Further responsibilities include:
* Working very closely with the marketing and business development team to follow up on leads generated by marketing activities, email campaigns and various business development activities.
* Your target markets will be working across a wide range of businesses including, agriculture, schools, hospitals, public sector, manufacturing and industry.
* Managing and qualifying inbound warm leads to create sales opportunities.
* Confidently engaging with key decision makers to create an interest in the products and services.
* Attend trade shows and conferences to help promote the products and services.
* Managing, growing and leveraging existing business relationships to maximise every sale opportunity.
* Adopt a consultative sales technique, handling objections and providing a solution based on the customers needs.
* Managing/tracking/logging key information on the CRM System
* Develop new business across South East England

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager will:-

* Ideally you will have a background in Gasses, Lubricants, Oils, Renewable Energy, Water or Utilities
* Have a track record in sales and business development.
* Be a self starter, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak to various stakeholders.
* Be a motivated, ambitious individual with the drive to succeed; supporting other members in a team.
* Be proficient in using MS Office, with strong organisational, decision making and problem solving skills.
* Be Prepared to travel across the South of the UK
* Ideally live along the M1 Corridor or the South East England

Basic salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on your experience
