My business services client is a Telecoms re-seller who are now looking to expand into Scotland.

Job Description

As Business Development Manager within the companies B2B team, you will be focusing on new business acquisition within the SME marketplace across vertical sectors in Scotland.

You will have the following key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Contact and visit prospects regularly to build a robust pipeline
  • Uncover customer challenges by using robust questioning techniques
  • Close sales opportunities
  • Close as many new long term contracts as possible
  • Update CRM tool to manage all customer communication.
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting to the Sales Manager

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record of self-generated new business within B2B field sales
  • Experience of selling telecoms and/or cloud desirable but not essential, other related backgrounds will be considered
  • Excellent communication and questioning skills
  • Strong consultative selling style and solution sale skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team - you will be required to work from the office one day per week
  • Self-motivated as you will be be managing your own time and achievement of objectives
  • Full UK driving licence

What's on Offer

Basic salary up to £33k DOE + double OTE + £4.5k car allowance + pension + 20 days holiday and bank holidays, phone, laptop
