About Our Client

Company is a well known leading UK Organisation.

Job Description

To explore, identify and manage new business tendering opportunities in order to secure and grow the business.

To manage sales prospects (client average order values circa £100k) with a minimum overall sales pipeline value of £5M

Develop new business relationships and successfully managing the sales process, through lead generation, sales presentations, proposal solutions, negotiation, close, and handover to the account management team

Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner. You will effectively interact with other departments including the account management and internal teams when handing over new customers ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong presentation, selling, negotiating and influential skills
  • Analytical and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions
  • Ability to work in partnership with internal departments, (potential) customers and other organisations
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Solid pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
  • Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate / manage the appropriate outcome
  • Must have dealt with Bids and Tenders
  • Typical Sales order at least 50K - must be used to this aspect.
  • Ability to deal with a longer Sales cycle
