About Our Client

My client is a leading international provider of guest technology managed services for the hospitality industry and their commitment is to maximise a customer's on-property value and guest satisfaction.

Job Description

The Business development Manager will drive net new revenue acquisition and work with account managers to up-sell into a nominated set of customers and prospects across the UK.

The Business Development Manager will map the market, identifying prospective new clients, develop account plans, attend industry seminars and forums, maintain awareness of what's going on in the industry, work closely with marketing, finance and other divisions of the business to continually up-skill knowledge and overall look to push and close all revenue opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven ability to prospect, lead generate, cold call and close
  • able to travel throughout the UK as required
  • self starter
  • based from Reading but will likely be on the road 90% of the time so just need to be able to do the office 1 day per week at most
  • min of 2 years sales experience in a pre sale, account management or business development role but from within the Hospitality IT industry
  • further experience of the UK hospitality market place
  • good working knowledge of Wi-Fi, mobile technology, hospitality TV systems
