Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Business Development Manager will be to focus on identifying new opportunities in new markets working closely with the Account Managers and distributors across the UK. Further responsibilities include:-

  • Making calls and identifying opportunities with potential customers.
  • Driving the 'Geami' product range and customer experience via marketing departments in relevant target companies.
  • Having a systematic approach in working towards targeted accounts.
  • Coordinating UK Marketing activities such as exhibitions, journals, forums and associations in key target areas.
  • Driving customer testimonials and working with trade journals to help promote the Ranpak brand to drive sales opportunities for the Account Managers.
  • Ensure that the Ranpak website is up to date with all promo activity and links to advertorial / case study material.
  • Work with existing distributors to coordinate campaigns in specific industries i.e. automotive, E-commerce
  • Coordinating distributor training and liaising with Account Managers to help facilitate key programs.
  • Working closely with Account Managers, identifying ways to target and penetrate new accounts.

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager will:-

  • Have some sales experience and track record in winning new business.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders at different levels.
  • Be a self starter, enthusiastic, commercial individual with fantastic organisations skills.
  • Ideally have some experience working on marketing initiatives, i.e. exhibitions, trade journals.
  • Have strong LinkedIn knowledge and capability.
  • Be confident in generating new leads within new markets.
  • Have exceptional customer service levels.
  • Be able to work autonomously and part of a team simultaneously
