Due to dramatic growth and progression my client are looking to expand and further their team. Established in 2005 my client specialise in providing telecoms solutions to business's in the SME space.

Job Description


Working as part of a small team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for finding and securing new business and closing deals. After initial, thorough, training, duties will include:

  • Achieving targets in line with company sales plan
  • Generating, managing and closing new business opportunities
  • Prospecting and making calls to generate new business
  • Working with the Head of Sales to build and maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Preparing proposals
  • Conducting product demonstrations
  • Managing opportunities and the pipeline
  • Keeping up to date with the product developments and new features

The Successful Applicant


To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager candidates must have:

  • Minimum 1-2 year's experience in field sales role.
  • A very good and proven track record of prospecting/lead generation
  • Experience in a solution selling role would be preferred
  • Proven business-to-business experience
  • Experience selling remotely and face-to-face to end customers
  • A proven ability to manage a cycle
  • A proactive and customer focused selling approach
  • TELECOMS experience would be advantageous
