My client are a fast growing professional services business with an exciting and innovative proposition. They are looking to expand their blue chip client portfolio. They are based in Manchester in the North West.

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Own and hit/exceed targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand professional services landscape and trends
  • Report on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager will be required to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of selling within a professional service environment
  • Track record of selling into large blue chip organisations
  • Consistent delivery of 7 figure sales targets within assigned territories and accounts
  • Able to demonstrate meeting / exceeding targets with proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close in an SME environment
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including Executive and C-level
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and sourcing leads and opportunities independently
  • Use existing professional network to identify new opportunities and turn them into long term profitable client relationships
