Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Improvement and working out of their Lincolnshire facility the Business Improvement Manager would have full design, project management and delivery responsibility for transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Provide process consultancy and identify areas that would benefit from Lean initiatives

-Innovate and implement process re-engineering requirements to improve operational efficiency's

-Understand and evaluate all business ideas in order to provide functional improvements

-Champion the practical adoption of Six Sigma across all levels of operations

- Mentor and support Six Sigma (Green and Yellow Belts) trainees to obtain formal qualification

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will without exception be qualified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. They will have held a consultant or improvement focused position in a manufacturing environment previously.

The successful Business Improvement Manager will:

-Ideally be qualified to BEng/Bsc level or above

-Be able to demonstrate practical applications of analytic, problem solving, facilitation and project management skills

-Demonstrate the ability to effectively mentor Yellow and Green Belt candidates

-Demonstrated ability to apply Value Stream Mapping and new methods to drive business process improvement
