Job Description

As a buyer, you will be required to help with the day to day running of the purchasing department including, but not limited to:

  • Raising of purchase orders
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • Supplier relationship building
  • Analysis of procurement procedures
  • Individual supplier cost analysis
  • Improvement of purchasing systems

The Successful Applicant

The ideal profile for the buyer position:

  • Worked within manufacturing
  • Strong computer/excel skills
  • Analytically focused
  • Ability to form relationships with suppliers
  • A track record of cost savings with supplier development
