About Our Client

My client is a dynamic independently owned facilities management company with a turnover of circa £40 million that works closely with their clients to achieve considerable service improvements. The business is part of a larger group with excellent presence across the UK.

Job Description

  • Ensure monthly fixed and variable billing of recharges and fees sent promptly to clients
  • Ensure all monthly committed costs captured - suppliers, wages, accruals, prepayments.
  • Regular liaison with site staff to ensure timely, accurate processing of their costs
  • Variance analysis and commentary of expenditure vs budget
  • Produce year end forecasts in conjunction with site FM & Ops management
  • Attend periodic site meetings to present reports to FM, Ops management and client
  • Assist with preparation of client annual budgets in conjunction with Ops management
  • Working with Finance and Ops teams to further enhance client reports
  • Assist with credit control for own clients to maximise cash flow
  • Adhoc reporting

The Successful Applicant

  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience of facilities management and/or business services companies would also be advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience within a company that has experienced rapid growth is considered highly attractive.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate with senior management and customers.
