About Our Client

Job Description

The candidate should ideally be a building surveyor with strong project management experience.

Property Management

  • Programme and manage service chargeable external and internal redecoration works as appropriate
  • Manage service chargeable planned and reactive works on the Estate, ensuring quality of delivery to required timeframe
  • Working alongside the Property Management team, patrol the estate and pick up on and initiate minor handyman works required to ensure the Estate looks pristine at all times
  • Initiate and maintain 5 year PPM's for all service charge properties
  • Provide technical assistance to team on building works as required

Asset Management

  • Oversee the management of minor white boxing works as required
  • Oversee tenant fit out guide - ensure it is kept updated and recirculated as appropriate
  • Review leases and pick up breaches in tenant covenants with regards to repairs and redecoration
  • Manage any in-house approvals for alterations
  • Oversee the management of tenant refurbishments

Project Management

  • Programme and manage the public realm works on the Estate
  • Carry out Condition Surveys on any potential acquisitions
  • Provide input to new developments to ensure consistency of approach across the Estate

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates for the Building Surveyor role with Capco will:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Be MRICS qualified.
  • Have worked with Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas, Heritage projects or areas of Architectural importance.
