About Our Client

My client is a FMCG company which is a leader in their market. Their product range includes fruit juices, sauces and spreads and they sell more than one thousand products in over 50 countries worldwide.

Headquartered in the US, my client is an agricultural cooperative owned by its growers and now one of America's leading brands.

They are successfully expanding their product across the Europe and Asia Markets growing their business through the support of Finance, Marketing and Sales teams operating from their Berkshire-based office.

Job Description

The role of the Commercial Analyst reports directly into the MD and will work closely with Finance, Business Development and Marketing teams to support business development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making recommendations to the MD and the business teams, based on strong analytical skills and business understanding. You would be partnering other departments within the business to continue the growth and success of the brand.

As a Commercial Analyst you will perform financial analysis, ad hoc reporting and modeling and drive customer, brand and product performance reporting.

You will assist with the development of presentations and reviews of the company's financial performance and present to senior management and the board of directors. You would also be expected to analyze, interpret and communicate spend and volume variances to Country Managers and Business Development Managers.

The Successful Applicant

Applicants for this role should be qualified accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with at least two years post qualified experience. Candidates should possess a superior attention to detail and compulsive need for accuracy.

You should have a strong track record of producing accurate periodic reports and analysis of finance results and experience communicating with the wider business and seior management.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential to partner with the business and report important business information to senior management.

You would also be expected to have a good academic record and strong Excel skills.
