About Our Client

My client is a leading and fast paced Facilities Management business that deals specifically with blue chip clients throughout the UK. Due to growth they are looking to recruit a brand new Commercial Finance Manager to be based out of their London office.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the commercial management of a portfolio of blue chip FM contracts throughout the UK.
  • To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of client's representatives.
  • Maintain budgetary control of labour and materials
  • Ensure that standards are consistently achieved and maintained. Carry out regular audits on standards and due diligence documentation.
  • Advise FD of all changes which affect commercial requirements, including additional equipment, increase or reduction in frequency or any new services.
  • Responsible for the KPI performance management reporting and analysis.
  • To lead the continual improvement of the wider Facilities Solutions Commercial Procedures, processes and working documentations.
  • To develop and deliver training to the wider finance team.
  • Reporting on financial performance and identifying risk through full knowledge and understanding of the pricing model.
  • To develop and flow down the key requirement of the contract, working with the Account Directors to optimise profit and protect the business from any Commercial/Partner/Internal risks.
  • Producing timely and accurate information to support the financial month end GP results and forecasts.
  • Analysis of the results to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Leading contract negotiations.
  • Daily contact with Operational teams

The Successful Applicant

Person Specification:

ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant with a minimum 2:1 degree from a top University

Previous experience in a similar role managing financial and commercial processes in FM or a similar industry across the European region.

Considerable financial management experience in the M & E/ building services/ FM industries in the UK and other European countries
