Our client is a global publishing and media organisation that sits at the top of their field.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain working knowledge of current and emerging technology capabilities, as well as the company platforms and product models
  • Research into customer needs and expectations, and emerging opportunities within the industry, to propose and shape appropriate digital strategies for discipline-specific markets
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to agree and prioritise plans for digital product design and delivery in discipline-specific markets.
  • Define and track new feature and inform prioritisation of these using customer and internal stakeholder feedback.
  • Define the business case for new, often complex, product features and, in collaboration with other teams and external partners as required, document user requirements including use cases, features and functionality.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes either on your own or in collaboration with colleagues or vendors, engaging with learning specialists as part of the design process where appropriate.
  • In collaboration with the Content Development team, co-ordinate SME work to create digital content for new product-specific capabilities or interactive media.
  • Manage schedules and budgets for all assigned projects to ensure that project goals, milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Conduct or coordinate market testing, user testing and focus groups for tools and product capabilities, feeding development recommendations back into product and content development to ensure product-market fit and to inform service/support requirements.
  • Work closely with field-based teams to ensure effective operational management of products and consistent collection of evidence to measurably demonstrate impact on learning.
  • Analyse data and usage patterns to make recommendations to improve our product capabilities and features to improve the learning experience.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application, you MUST be immediately available. Additionally, you will have demonstrated the ability to:

  • Respond positively to changes in the digital landscape to incorporate new technologies appropriately when developing new projects.
  • Carry out market research and user testing, collating and analysing results to inform product and content design.
  • Listen, understand and respond to user feedback and perspectives.
  • Scope and design digital experiences in response to user needs, and understand how to implement digital technologies and tools to support strategies.
  • Familiarity with, and understanding of, the most current digital and mobile technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage a high volume of simultaneous complex projects.
  • Balance the demands of multiple and complex projects at different stages of development including short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Be a confident, clear and persuasive communicator working successfully with internal and external stakeholders in person, virtually and in writing.
  • Work flexibly in a cross-functional, global team and inspire those around you.
