Job Description

Specifics of role:
* Support the development and management of TPO community pages as a central repository of key news and information to help increase connectivity and improve understanding of business owners, subject matter experts and stakeholders. This includes:
* Drive the development of the TPO community aligned with brand and best practice and keep them up to date and engaging for the audience
* Build capability amongst key people in the functions so they can develop and maintain their community content using brand templates, tools and available resources
* Publish community news articles to demonstrate progress and share success across the functions
* Collate and distribute the monthly summary to help ensure key stakeholders are aware of what they need to know and do on a regular basis
* Provide support for video (filming, editing, publishing) and help build best practice video capability within the function
* Create and maintain communications packs to ensure alignment on messaging, consistency and GSK brand
* Explore new ways to engage and inform the community online - bringing in 'good ideas' and best practice from other teams and external influences
* Work with the Comms BLs/Directors to provide advice and guidance on key TPO communications materials and messages to ensure alignment and consistency across procurement, finance and GEC.
* Support the delivery of TPO engagement events/broadcasts/leader engagements, including;
* Co-ordination of logistics, event planning and execution
* Listening and analysis to measure the effectiveness of communications in line with Global Internal Comms engagement method
* Utilise all company channels to communicate TPO to a global audience, including yammer, connect, email and global news.
* Support the TPO programme with internal communications to the team, where appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

Skills required:
* Strong engagement/communications skills required, specifically written and verbal -broad comms skills -different channels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes and aptitude for online creation and publishing skills i.e. Photoshop and Sharepoint skills,video capability, knowledge of social media, and an understanding of user-centred information design/architecture
* Good attention to detail, with an ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task in a complex, fast-moving environment
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a high level of initiative
* Ability to build good working relationships at all levels
* Self motivated and natural team player
* Sense of urgency, calm under pressure, resilient and flexible
* Project management skills
* Interest in marketing, communications and social media networks highly desirable

What's on Offer

Ongoing contract initially 6 months - project will last approx 2 years
£350-400 Day Limited Company Day Rate
