Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget responsibility in line with the long term strategy of the organisation
  • Build sustainable relationships to ensure strong income pipeline
  • Responsible for a target around £250,000
  • Evaluate and analyse community fundraising data to allow trends to be identified
  • Devise and implement stewardship plans for a variety of high value supporters
  • Learn the variety of ways in which a donor can become engaged with the organisation and package this into an attractive proposal to be presented at a suitable time
  • Representing this organisation both internally and externally to key stakeholders
  • Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify suitable opportunities for other areas of the organisation
  • Build excellent relationships with colleagues across the organisation and donors to ensure that full advantage is being taken of potential high value connections and networks
  • Deliver inspiring presentations to both volunteers and members of the public to ensure fundraising is maximised
  • Keep abreast of community fundraising best practise to stay ahead of the curve within the sector

The Successful Applicant

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working within a fundraising team in a relationship building role
  • Excellent relationship building skills with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to bring a personal touch to your work to ensure that partnerships are created and built on
  • Flexible approach to working to ensure that difficult solutions can easily be resolved
  • Excellent database skills and the ability to analyse fundraising data to pull out appropriate trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude to work and ability to process criticism in a constructive manner
  • Ability to work on time and ensure that you can be relied on

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £31,000 and £32,000, depending on experience.
