About Our Client

Our client is a well reputed construction company based in Nottingham and covering the East & west Midlands, East England and South Yorkshire.



They have expanded their business by gaining a reputation for the quality of work and their pro-active, can-do attitude.

Job Description

You will have had experience in a construction environment and have taken full ownership of a finance department previously.



You will lead a team of 2 who will report directly to you and you will report directly into the owner. You will be responsible of a £1m ledger and handle the payroll across the company.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

-payroll

-purchase ledger

-making sure job costings are up to date

-cash flow forecasting

-monitoring the business as a whole

-tax planning

-Management Accounting

-CIS scheme

The Successful Applicant

You will have a background in construction and have managed a construction finance team previously.



You will be of strong character and have the ability to work in a demanding environment. You must be mentally astute and able to rise to the occasion and any tasks that are put your way



You must have had exposure or experience with CIS scheme
