Job Description

Compliance Manager responsibilities:

  • Leading the design and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Programme across the companies Joint Venture.
  • Creating a Centre Of Excellence within legal and compliance by being a central point of contact for all compliance and regulatory queries.
  • Providing accurate and timely advice and guidance to the business on standards, policies, procedures and regulatory issues ensuring best practice standards are achieved, and fostering a compliance culture where the fair treatment of customers is central to the business.
  • Identifying risks to the businesses insurance and consumer credit offerings and implementing risk management strategies in order to mitigate those risks.
  • Responsibility for ensuring Legal and Regulatory training is rolled out across the business and is monitored and updated on a regular basis.
  • Preparing and ensuring timely submission of compliance reports to the senior management, The Board and The FCA.
  • Implementing an annual mystery shopping exercise.
    Forging strong relationships across the sales channels and throughout the business.

Consumer Credit Act (CCA)

FCA Regulation Experience desirable
