My client is in the process of launching a new direct to consumer retailer based in Manchester. They aim to compete with some of the biggest in the industry and have a genuinely innovative 3 year business plan to achieve this. They are massively expanding their Digital and Marketing team with the addition of 5 new staff.

Job Description

This Content Manager position will be responsible for everything the consumer sees on the website. The main responsibilities involve:

  • Coordinating copy and content that suits the website and business tone.
  • Working with external agency to ensure smooth transition to an in house content team.
  • Ensuring product photos are of a good quality.
  • Ensuring products are positioned in the best manner.
  • Managing the future expansion of the content team.
  • Writing engaging product copy with a focus on SEO.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Content Manager will have the following capabilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An indepth understanding of SEO led content.
  • Great copywriting skills.
  • A wide variety of experience using CMS.
  • At least 3 years in a similar position.
