About Our Client

My client is the largest manufacturer and distributor of solid fuels within Europe with operation both in England and Ireland. They have over 500 staff nationwide both at their head office in Sheffield and the 30 depots across the UK.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for creating and updating the content of the company websites, ensuring that it remains accurate, informative and relevant and that it meets brand guidelines at all times.
  • Writing copy for offline material such as brochures, letters, promotional flyers
  • Create and manage e-mail marketing campaigns, working with external provider to achieve objectives
  • Managing the company's social media presence
  • Work with colleagues and the Marketing Manager to help define propositions and campaigns across websites.
  • Assist the marketing team and business with various tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant



You need to have:

  • Managing content for high traffic websites.
  • Website and online marketing is essential, particularly email marketing, along with a strong background in other marketing techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and can priorities own workload to meet deadlines - asks for input when needed.
  • Ability to analyse websites and marketing effectiveness metrics to create management level reports and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships across the organisation, at all levels, and with third parties. Able to communicate confidently at all levels within the business, and present technical information in a logical and understandable format for non technical colleagues.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced environment with constant demanding timescales and can change focus to adapt to rapid priority shifts aimed at sustaining competitive advantage.
  • Prepared to be flexible about normal working hours in order to meet deadlines.
