About Our Client
By utilising cutting-edge document automation technology, integrated work flow systems and content, together with legal advice and document review, we enable banks, insurers and law firms to deliver legal services to their consumer and business clients.
Our services include "intelligent" legal documents such as wills, divorce forms, employment agreements and tenancy contracts over the web. Our systems draft tens of thousands of documents every year.
The Content Solicitor will form part of the content team which is responsible for maintaining over 350 document templates, as well as 800 legal information guides, suitable for consumers and small businesses.
Your role, based in London will be to help keep this content compliant with current legislation and relevant case law, whilst also improving its usability, functionality, and user guidance. You'll need to create new content when needed.
To update and create our document templates, you'll use our bespoke document-automation software. You will need to draft and edit clauses for the most likely scenarios, and then create questions, logic and guidance notes to ensure that the templates can be used in a variety of circumstances.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is seeking a qualified solicitor (including non-practising), barrister or chartered legal executive.
Ideally you'll have at least 5 years' post-qualification experience* in private practice. We are looking for individuals with experience of drafting things such as:
- Commercial agreements
- Residential landlord documents
Our client is seeking an individual who is excellent at legal drafting and has impeccable writing skills with great attention to detail.
Our client will provide training on their in-house systems as well as ongoing CPD.
Previous experience of working with document automation is therefore not required, but good IT skills are essential, especially MS Word.
*Applications from differing levels of PQE will be considered.
