About Our Client
My client is an award winning supply chain solution business that specialises in freight, transport and warehouse solutions.
As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the clients service levels are achieved. You will report directly into the Warehouse Operations Manager and cover a remit of freight forwarding, container terminals and a logistics operation to provide a great service to the customer.
Your Duties will include:
Management of the operation and ensure healthy and safety procedures are followed.
First line contact with the client, management and operational staff.
Setting and delivering against budget targets.
Ensure that food grade standards are kept.
Monitor and maintain humidity levels with a 'closed door' policy.
Maintain accurate stock control
Set and monitor KPI's.
Development of customer relationships at various levels with regular service reviews.
The Successful Applicant
An ideal candidate will have exposure to working in a 3PL environment.
You must also have shown and delivered successful strategic development in your previous role.
Exposure to a role within Contract Management is highly desirable.
Excellent IT Skills.
