About Our Client

Our Client is a highly established, long standing national organisation and are seeking a contracts manager to provide input both internally and externally in Bristol.

Job Description

The contracts manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • the contracts manager will examine and summarise all customer agreements in a timely manner.
  • To draft alternative clauses where necessary and provide solutions in the event of conflict.
  • To negotiate customer agreements in conjunction with sales, marketing and logistics teams, etc.
  • Update and maintain contract database on a regular basis.
  • General administrative duties including filing, letters and emails.
  • Legal research on various issues / projects as instructed or required.
  • Ad hoc projects as they arrive.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice.
  • Provide general internal legal advice as required.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in dealing with external customers.
  • Good interpersonal skills with internal customers.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise heavy and variable workload.
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read contracts quickly and determine salient points.
  • Enthusiastic and hard-working.
  • Team player.
