Job Description

Joining the Truro teams, looking to bolster their highly regarded corporate finance team with the addition of a qualified ACA, ACCA, Corporate Finance Associate, you will support the Corporate Finance team on a wide range of specialist business projects, undertaking due diligence project work for a wide range of organisations and deals. You will also have significant involvement in the creation of business plans and financial models on a wide range of Corporate Finance projects, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs, fundraising, restructuring / refinancing, grant applications and valuations work. You will produce cash flow forecasts and budgets for input into valuations and examinations of company viability and guide clients through the technical aspects of business transactions. There will also be opportunity to contribute to the marketing effort, with a view to developing the client base.

The Successful Applicant

You will be ACA / ACCA qualified, from recently qualified to 6 - 12 months or more, post qualified experience, with either experience in the sector as a Corporate Finance Associate, or you will be looking to move into the sector, having trained within a different discipline area eg Audit, Tax etc. You will therefor have either corporate finance experience, particularly with small corporate and owner-managed businesses in an accountancy practice environment, or with proven experience of audit/tax and/or secondments working in a transaction services environment and be looking to advance your career within this highly successful and expanding team. You will able to demonstrate the skills required and genuine interest to diversify into the sector.
