About Our Client

I am currently business partnering with a Legal practice in the West Midlands recruiting for a Tax Advisor.

Offices across the West Midlands from Kidderminster to Ludlow.

Job Description

The basic role requirements will include:

  • Capital Gains Tax in relation to business assets and ownership, corporates and groups.
  • Awareness of the interaction with Inheritance Tax.
  • Corporation Tax, particularly in relation to owner-managed businesses.
  • Capital Allowances.
  • Tax clearances from HMRC on mergers/demerges of companies/groups.
  • Stamp Duty and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
  • VAT relating to activities within the UK.
  • Insurance Premium Tax.
  • Income Tax in relation to both self-employed individuals and the employment of individuals.
  • All classes of National Insurance from the perspective of the self-employed and the employer

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have an interest in Law,

Keen to further expand their tax knowledge and advisory skills.

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT or equivalent.

Strong interpersonal skills, client facing ability.
