About Our Client

My client is a leading regional practice in Sheffield.

Job Description

The Sheffield based Corporate Tax Assistant's core responsibilities will be to;

  • Assist members of the CBS Department with technical and other support, including provision of CT training
  • Contribute to the success and development of the department via team work and inter-departmental flexibility
  • CT compliance, including reviewing accounts files and draft computations, sending letters with computations and returns out to clients for review and submissions of returns to HMRC
  • Fee protection admin
  • iXBRL accounts tagging
  • Make submissions to HMRC
  • Monitor submission and other key deadlines
  • Put together key information and do basic CT compliance checks for review by the CT Manager
  • Request agent authorisation and ensure online access for all clients
  • Work closely with the Personal Tax Department to deliver an effective, all round tax service to clients including IHT, PAYE and NIC, etc

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Corporate Tax Assistant will be;

  • AAT Qualified
  • ATT Part-Qualified
  • Understand Corporate Tax compliance and have experience in Practice
  • Personal Tax compliance experience and be technically up to date
