About Our Client

My client is a highly successful manufacturing business, with a huge UK and overseas presence and are the leaders within their industry. Based in their office in the Worcestershire area- you will be joining a successful team reporting into the finance manager.

Job Description

Reporting in to the finance manager- the Cost/Management accountant role will form an integral part of the Finance Function and you will have the opportunity to make this role your own, and the business even more successful. You will do this by working cross-functionally to assist the wider team and other departments.

  • Produce monthly P&L statements for brand and regional performance.
  • Assistance with monthly Accounts and forecasts, and annual budgets for the production division
  • Support with the Implementation of a new costing process
  • Any other ad hoc duties including month end reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally have a Cost Accounting background gained through various industries, although a manufacturing business would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of working to reporting deadlines, with high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or Qualified by experience.
