About Our Client

A Cardiff based Financial Services business seeking to engage a Customer Insight & Research Senior Manager.

Job Description

Reporting in to the Marketing Director the Customer Insight and Research senior manager will:

  • Design and deliver customer & market insight and analysis which challenges thinking and contributes to decision making across the organisation.
  • Manage a team of technical specialists providing expertise on customer and market research, data mining, analysis and database marketing.
  • Lead the technical aspects associated with the implementation of the customer segmentation strategy working closely with the Head of Customer Proposition and Experience.
  • Provide analytical and implementation support for the delivery of CRM, such as propensity modelling.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful candidate for the role of Customer Insight and Research senior manager will ideally have experience gained in a Financial services business which spans both analytics and research and feeds into the Marketing team.

In addition:

  • Experience of managing research agencies
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. MS Access, Business Objects)
  • Experience of using SAS/SPSS statistical packages
  • Advanced statistical and analytical skills
  • Experience and evidence of undertaking ad hoc market research, understanding primary qualitative and quantitative customer research.
