Job Description

  • Working with team leads to ensure orders are processed and delivery expectations met with any exceptions/issues being managed and communicated to all stakeholders
  • Working with Operations and sales team to plan capacity and manage any exceptions. Communication of issues to NAM teams and customer
  • Day to day team management, 121 time, team meetings etc. People and team development and coaching.
  • Preparation of data, slides etc. Production of weekly/monthly reports for KPIs.
  • Improving efficiency of Customer Fulfilment through driving forward process improvement and system changes. Visit to customers to drive process improvements and build relationship.
  • Driving down costs incurred through surcharges from our customer and haulage companies through leading team to investigate root cause of issues and implement process and policy changes to mitigate these.
  • Leading team to drive down costs of delivery to customer by increasing average fill rate of haulage through working with customers to amend ordering patterns and behaviours whilst setting policies to ensure long term adherence.
  • Ensuring orders are managed end to end for all UK supply including lead team leads in managing returns and shortages and order failures through the system and engaging stakeholders where necessary.

  • Diligent in completion of tasks and projects, solution focused
  • A strong understanding of Retail or FMCG supply chain with at least 5 years' FMCG supply chain experience
  • Experienced team leader/people manager (3+ years)
  • Experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers
  • Basic financial understanding (P&L etc)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Competent in use of ERP system
  • S&OP Understanding (desired, not essential)
